Mason Smith

Mason Smith currently serves as the Head of Community at Blueprint since May 2025 and is the Founder of Sunward Collaborative, a role begun in March 2024. Previously, Mason was the Head of Government and Community Relations at Hipcamp from April 2020 to October 2023, where responsibilities included defining a new land use category in regulated markets. Prior to this, Mason worked as the Public Affairs Manager at Cruise Automation from May 2018 to April 2020, orchestrating campaigns that aligned with business policy goals. Mason's career began at Airbnb as the Constituency Manager of the Americas, and as Small Business Outreach Director, overseeing a team during the successful Prop F campaign. Mason holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Naropa University and a BA in Political Science and Global Poverty and Practice from the University of California, Berkeley.
