Chris McCarty

Chris McCarty has held various roles in the technology industry since 2004. Chris began their career as an Operations Developer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan. In this role, they instituted and developed a new business application for Human Resources, working with recruiters to analyze current business processes and gather requirements for an improved process. Chris also worked as lead developer on this project, holding weekly meetings with end-users, conducting training sessions and creating final end-user documentation. In 2007, Chris began working as a Consultant for 170 Systems, where they were responsible for performing the day to day activities to ensure the successful completion and installation of software to client. As part of this process, they met with clients to determine software requirements; configured software to client design specs; installed software in client’s environment and provided first line support during user acceptance testing and go-live transition. In 2008, they became the Owner of 313 Consulting, LLC. In 2016, Chris joined blueriver as Vice President of Product and Vice President of Platforms.

Chris McCarty completed their Bachelor's Degree in Management Information Systems from Central Michigan University in 2003. Chris then went on to pursue an MBA in Management Development from the University of Notre Dame, which they completed in 2007.
