Tim Mayall

Tim Mayall has worked in the biotechnology industry for over 25 years. Theirwork experience includes roles at BlueSphere Bio (2020-present), F1 Oncology (2016-present), Experienced Biotechnology Professional (2016-present), RetroVirox Inc. (2014-2016), PaxVax Inc. (2008-2014), MultiCell Technologies, Inc. (2006-2008), Canji, Inc (Schering-Plough) (2000-2006), and The Salk Institute for Biological Studies (1993-2000). At BlueSphere Bio, they currently hold the roles of Vice President of Product Development, Head of Manufacturing Sciences and Technology, and Senior Consultant. At F1 Oncology, they held the role of Head of Process Development, responsible for the local process development group at F1 San Diego and coordination of global CMC. At RetroVirox Inc., they held the roles of Senior Director of Virology and Director of Virology, responsible for discovering new treatments for patients with viral diseases. At PaxVax Inc., they held the role of Senior Director of Research and Development, focusing on a replicating adenovirus vector delivery platform. At Canji, Inc (Schering-Plough), they held the role of Associate Principal Scientist, responsible for early drug discovery utilizing adenovirus for gene therapy. At The Salk Institute for Biological Studies, they held the role of Staff Scientist, focusing on the understanding of transcriptional activation of HIV-1 promoter and TCRalpha enhancer.

Tim Mayall completed their undergraduate studies at the University of Leeds, where they earned a B.Sc. (Hons) in Biochemistry between 1986 and 1989. Tim then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology at the University of London, which they completed in 1993.
