Peter McGowan is a Senior Piping Designer at Blue Star Engineering, bringing over 26 years of experience in design and drafting for oil and gas facilities. Their project portfolio includes a diverse range of work from single well batteries to SAGD projects and gas compression. Peter has also provided field support for tie-ins and as-built documentation, as well as on-site construction assistance. Previously, they held senior and junior piping design roles at several engineering firms, including XXL Engineering Ltd, Enercore Projects Ltd, and WSP, among others. Currently, Peter is pursuing a diploma in Engineering Design & Drafting Technology at the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
