BlueSteel AI Solutions is a Colorado-based AI consulting firm built by practitioners, not theorists. Co-founders Steel Wylie and Wilder "Blue" Rothberg, both finishing business degrees at CU Boulder, have been integrating AI into real workflows since ChatGPT's launch in 2022. Steel co-founded the CU AI Club before moving into direct AI implementation as an independent contractor; Blue cut his teeth at a commercial real estate firm, a global retail fishing company, and CU's ChatGPT Lab, where he drove practical AI adoption among students and faculty alike. They joined forces around a shared observation: the AI landscape changes weekly, and professionals don't have time to keep up, so they need a practical path to empower their existing teams. BlueSteel operates across two lines: AI education, through customized seminars that assess an organization's current usage and deliver hands-on, industry-specific workflow training; and custom AI product development, including agentic pipelines, automation systems, and intelligent tooling, led by Michael Albert, a Computer Engineering graduate from Cal Poly SLO. BlueSteel is small by design. Every client gets direct access to the founders and the developers actually building their solution. No account managers, no ticket queues, no three-week turnarounds on a simple change. We pick up the phone, we ship fast, and we treat your product like our own.
