Anthony Williams

Anthony Williams has over 17 years of experience in IT and operations management. Anthony began their career in 2003 as a Systems Administrator and IT Specialist at Franklin First Financial, Ltd., where they created a small database system and set up defensive firewall infrastructure. In 2006, they worked as a Systems Administrator and IT Operations Manager at the Grenadian Government, where they trained staff in computer-system setup and operations, and gained experience in system operations and various types of hardware and software. Anthony then moved to SYNAP as an IT Technician and Network Administrator Internship, where they were a first responder to server crashes and equipment failures of major architectural companies. In 2008, Anthony worked at AvePoint as a Java/C++ Developer and Senior IT Specialist, where they collaborated with a team to develop next-gen software solutions for Microsoft SharePoint. In 2009, they worked at Cablevision as a Phone IT Support Technician, responsible for off-site home and office computer configuration and network customizations. From 2010 to present, Anthony has been employed at BlueSwitch as a Senior Systems Administrator and IT Operations Manager, where they manage a small team of IT professionals in charge of providing technological solutions to over 100 clients. Anthony is responsible for both onsite and off-site repairs, as well as managing over 50 servers, each with at least 2-5 virtuals running.

Anthony Williams attended Polytechnic University from 2003 to 2008, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering. Anthony then attended Kingsborough Community College from 2009 to 2011, where they earned an Associates of Science in Computer/Information Technology Administration and Management.
