Nick Ford

Nick Ford has a diverse work experience, starting with their current role as a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test at Bluetooth SIG since July 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Developer Engineer in Test II at Bluetooth SIG from January 2020 to July 2021.

Before joining Bluetooth SIG, Nick worked at Microsoft as a Software Developer Engineer in Test from October 2018 to December 2019.

Nick also gained experience as a Product/Test Engineer at Microsemi Corporation from June 2018 to October 2018, where they worked on NPI Test Engineering with various technologies. Nick also worked as an Engineering Intern at Microsemi Corporation from June 2017 to September 2017.

Additionally, Nick served as a Teaching Assistant at California Polytechnic State University from January 2016 to June 2018, and as a Technical System Analyst at COVINA VALLEY UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT from June 2016 to December 2016.

During their early career, Nick interned at IT Project Pros, Inc in 2015 and Capita Technologies, Inc. in 2014.

Nick Ford attended Aliso Niguel High School from 2010 to 2014, where they did not pursue a specific degree or field of study. Following their high school education, from 2014 to 2018, Nick attended California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo. Here, they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree with a major in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In addition to their formal education, in August 2015, Nick obtained a Private Pilot ASEL/SES certification from the Federal Aviation Administration.
