Nimisha Gera

Nimisha Gera has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Nimisha started their career as a Software Engineer at Patni Computer Systems Limited from October 2000 to January 2002, where they managed and led the QA and Testing team and received the Annual Quality Contribution award. From February 2002 to May 2004, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer at the same company, continuing to lead the QA and Testing team and achieving high performance metrics.

In 2006, Nimisha joined State Street Global Advisors as a Senior QA Engineer, where they championed the implementation of a global support model and led QA testing efforts on various projects. Nimisha held this role until August 2011 when they became a Project Manager, responsible for establishing an offshore Data Quality team and leading projects across global locations. From March 2013 to December 2017, Nimisha served as a Product Manager at State Street Global Advisors, owning and managing the entire product lifecycle for three applications and defining the vision for a fund management application.

Currently, Nimisha is working at Bluetooth SIG, starting as a Product Manager in January 2018, then progressing to Senior Product Manager in August 2020, and finally becoming the Manager of Product Management in November 2021. In their current role, they lead the Specification product team, develops tools to support the Bluetooth member community, and successfully executed a project that resulted in significant time savings for Working Group Chairs. Additionally, Nimisha created a 3-year long vision plan for revamping multiple legacy applications with modern, cost-effective solutions.

Overall, Nimisha Gera has extensive experience in product management, software engineering, and project management, demonstrating their abilities to lead teams, drive quality improvements, and deliver successful projects.

Nimisha Gera has completed Product Management Executive Education from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley. Nimisha has also obtained a Master of Science degree from the University of Mumbai. In terms of additional certifications, Nimisha has achieved UC Berkeley Executive Education and is a Certified Product Manager (CPM) from AIPMM The Association of International Product Marketing and Management. Nimisha has yet to complete their Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification from Scrum Alliance.
