Greg Martin

Greg Martin has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Greg is currently working as a Project Manager at Bluewater - Transforming Learning and Talent Technology since June 2022. Prior to this, from July 2017 to June 2022, they worked at Argyle Independent School District as an Instructor & Head Coach, where they had responsibilities such as creating curricula, conducting learning needs analysis, and defining project scope for district athletic programs.

Before joining Argyle Independent School District, Greg worked at Castleberry ISD from July 2013 to July 2017 as a Social Studies Department Chair/Coach. In this role, they managed 8 employees as the Department Chair and oversaw internal communications for the department.

Greg also has experience working as a Summer School Teacher/Substitute at Hurst-Euless-Bedford I.S.D for the first half of 2013. Prior to this, they worked as a Server at Pappadeaux Restaurant from May 2011 to December 2011.

In their earlier career, Greg worked at Voce Communications as an Associate Client Executive from June 2010 to March 2011. Greg also had an internship role at the same company from October 2009 to June 2010. Additionally, they briefly served as the Location Director/Coach at Youth League Tennis in October and November 2009.

Greg's work experience also includes a position as the Director/Coach at the Town of Redding, CT from October 2007 to May 2009 and a summer internship at Fox Sports Southwest in May and July 2002.

Greg Martin has a Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Secondary Education and Teaching from The University of Texas at Arlington, which they obtained from 2011 to 2013. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Communication Studies and Marketing from Western Connecticut State University from 2007 to 2009. In addition to their formal education, Greg has obtained various certifications, mainly from LinkedIn, in fields such as L&D Professional, Leadership Development, Learning Mindset, Diversity, Inclusion, Gamification of Learning, HTML, Human Resources, Learner Engagement, Jira Software, Learning Effectiveness, Unconscious Bias, Developing Managers, Training Programs Design and Delivery, Train the Trainer, Gaining Internal Buy-In for Elearning Training, Organizational Learning and Development, Data Analysis, and SEO Foundations. Their most recent certification, the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM), was obtained from the Project Management Institute in May 2020.
