Roy orfaig

Roy Orfaig is an AI researcher and academic supervisor at Tel-Aviv University, where they guide a research group focused on autonomous driving technologies. They have developed extensive expertise in areas such as lane detection, multi-object tracking, and sensor fusion. With a strong background in algorithm development and system engineering from their time at Applied Materials and various other companies, Roy has also held leadership positions in research and development for vision-based ADAS and automated driving. Currently, they are a Senior AI researcher at UVeye and an AI & Perception Tech Lead at Blue White Robotics, where they apply deep learning and computer vision to develop advanced self-driving technologies. Roy holds both a BSc and MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
