Michael Tanji

Michael Tanji is currently a board member at BluSapphire. Prior to that, they were the Chief Operating Officer at Global Cyber Alliance from January 2020 to December 2022. Michael has also held positions as the CISO at Fulcrum Sage from January 2018 to December 2022, the Mentor at Darkfield from January 2017 to December 2020, the Chief Operations Officer at Senrio from January 2017 to December 2018, and the Managing Director at Wapack Labs from January 2016 to December 2017. Michael has also been the CEO at Syndis from January 2014 to December 2015 and the CMO at VMware Carbon Black from January 2010 to December 2012.

Michael Tanji has a MA in Computer Crime and Forensics from The George Washington University and a BS in Computer Science from Hawaii Pacific University. Michael also has certifications from Section4 in Certified Product Positioning and Certified Viral Growth, from AttackIQ in Extending ATT&CK with ATT&CK Workbench, Foundations of Operationalizing MITRE ATT&CK, and Introduction to EASY Framework for Threat Intelligence, and from the Idaho Commission for Libraries in Building a Library Collection and Library Collection Development.
