David Benowitz  was a Criminal Defense Attorney/Staff Attorney at the Public Defender Service for the District of Columbia (“PDS”), recognized as the top criminal public defender office in the country, for over 8 years, where he represented clients in the litigation of serious juvenile and adult criminal matters including first degree murder, first degree sexual abuse, and armed robbery.

Mr. Benowitz obtained an LL.M. in Trial Advocacy from Temple University's Beasley School of Law. He graduated near the top of his class at G.W. Law School where he participated in the DC Law Students in Court Program, was a Member of the George Washington Law Review and the Moot Court Board.
