Mike Lee has extensive experience in retail management, having held various leadership positions over several decades. Starting as a Retail Duty Manager at Cooperative Stores from September 1979 to May 1988, Mike progressed to roles such as Store Manager at Peacocks and Manager Coach within the same company. Mike served as Area Manager (Secondment) at Peacocks Stores Ltd and transitioned to New Stores & Refurb Project Manager at the same organization. After a role as Trading Manager at Tesco PLC from August 2003 to February 2011, Mike joined B&M Retail in February 2011 as General Store Manager, overseeing a management team and up to 50 general assistants while focusing on store KPIs, compliance, and customer service. Additionally, Mike’s earlier experience includes a position as Area Support Manager at Matalan for a brief period in 2002-2003.
