Lin Lee is an accomplished academic and editorial professional with extensive experience in medical research and publication. As the Acting Chief Editor of BMC Medicine, Lin is responsible for the journal's strategic development and oversees the peer review process and manuscript publication. Previously, as Deputy Editor for BMC Medicine, Lin ensured efficient journal operations and coordinated timely peer review processes. Lin has a solid academic background, having completed a PhD in Medical Genetics at the University of Oxford, where research focused on Drosophila melanogaster and Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Further, Lin has taught English at the University of Science and Technology in Beijing and holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Imperial College London.
