Michael Kidd

Michael Kidd is the Chief Medical Officer for Australia and serves as a Professor of Global Primary Care and Future Health Systems at both the University of New South Wales and the University of Oxford. Currently, they hold multiple roles, including Chair of the Primary Health Care Advisory Committee for the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare and Board Member at several organizations such as Telstra Health and The George Institute for Global Health. They have previously served as Principal Medical Advisor for the Australian Department of Health, Emeritus Director at the World Health Organization, and President of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Michael has an extensive academic background, including honorary professorial roles at various universities and degrees in medicine from the University of Melbourne and Monash University.
