Ping-Jen Chen 陳炳仁

Dr. Ping-Jen Chen is a consultant geriatrician, palliative medicine specialist, and associate professor at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital in Taiwan. Currently serving as the deputy secretary-general of the Taiwan Association of Gerontology and Geriatrics, they also hold positions as an associate editor for BMC Palliative Care and a member of the editorial board for BMC Global and Public Health. Their prior experience includes roles at Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Chi-Mei Medical Center, and various prestigious institutions such as University College London and the University of Oxford. Dr. Chen earned an MD from Kaohsiung Medical University and a PhD from UCL, focusing on integrated care and clinical ethics in their research.
