Richard Stephens is a dedicated patient advocate who has contributed to the field since 1995. Currently serving as Co-Editor-in-Chief at BMC since 2014, they oversee a leading journal focused on patient and public involvement in health care research. They previously held significant roles as Chair of the Consumer Liaison Group and Consumer Forum at NCRI from 2012 to 2019, and as Chair at CRAF-UK until March 2023, promoting consumer involvement in cancer research.
