Monika Lim serves as the Vice President of Americas Legal at BMC Software since November 2006, overseeing a team of lawyers and contract professionals and managing the associated budget. As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, Monika is responsible for establishing global contract forms, supervising the legal use of an automated Contract Lifecycle Management system, and managing the drafting and negotiation of commercial sales contracts across North America and Latin America. Additional responsibilities include ensuring compliance with laws such as GDPR, advising on corporate matters, and minimizing legal risks. Prior to BMC Software, Monika held positions as Legal Counsel at Landmark Graphics, Corporate Counsel at SpeedCast Limited, and Associate at Brewer, Anthony, Middlebrook, Burley & Dunn. Monika holds a JD in Law from Regent University School of Law and a BBA in Business from The University of Texas at Arlington.
