Phyllis Shalem

Phyllis Shalem has extensive experience in editing, translation, and information development. Beginning as a freelance editor and translator from 1984 to May 2011, Phyllis worked on a variety of materials including academic articles, literary works, and grant proposals. In June 2011, Phyllis joined BMC Software as an Information Developer. Prior experience includes serving as a partner at Mystical Tours from 1992 to 1998, where responsibilities involved co-authoring tour guide books, managing advertising campaigns, and overseeing the tour business. Additionally, from 1998 to 2009, Phyllis worked as a Database and Website Manager at Livnot U'Lehibanot, focusing on maintaining the company database and website, training staff, and editing grant-related documents. Phyllis holds a BA in History and International Relations from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and completed a Technical Writing Course at WritePoint in 2009.
