Steve Bowers has extensive experience in information technology and security, currently serving as an IT Manager and Lead Information Security Engineer at BMC Software since November 2020. Prior to this, Steve held various roles including Oracle Fusion Middleware Administrator at National Oilwell Varco and Lead Applications Developer at BMC Software, where significant contributions included leading the implementation of Enterprise Search on SharePoint 2007. Steve began his career as a Systems Analyst at Shell Oil Company from 1982 to 1993. Steve holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, both from Michigan Technological University.
