Opened in Bahia in May 2000, BMD Têxteis was a pioneer in the technical fabric development industry in the Northeast. Located in the Camaçari Petrochemical Complex, the largest industrial complex in the Southern Hemisphere, BMD Têxteis is part of the Maccaferri Group, which has been developing solutions for civil infrastructure engineering for over 140 years, being a world leader in the gabion sector. BMD Têxteis produces technical fabrics used as raw material in the manufacture of synthetic canvas for awnings, covers, blinds, safety clothing, industrial filters, footwear, bags and gifts. Present in the fish farming and agriculture industries, and providing environmental solutions such as geotextiles and geogrids, in the civil construction area.
