Chris Oglesby

VP Creative at BMG

Chris Oglesby has a diverse and extensive work experience in the music industry. Chris started their career in 1985 as an intern and tape copy at AMR Publications. Chris then worked as a tape copy and song plugger at Almo/Irving Music / Rondor International from 1986 to 1993. Chris served as a Creative Director at DreamCatcher Music / Major Bob Music in 1993. From 1994 to 2004, they held the position of Senior Creative Director at BMG Music Publishing. Chris then worked as a Writer Manager at 19 Entertainment from 2005 to 2010. In 2010, they founded OWM, a new business model for working with songwriters in Nashville, which quickly expanded beyond the music community. Currently, they hold the role of VP Creative at BMG - The New Music Company since 2013.

Chris Oglesby attended Greenville University from 1979 to 1983, where they studied music.
