David D'Urbano

David D'Urbano has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David currently holds the position of EVP & Chief Financial Officer at BMG UK - The New Music Company since May 2019. Prior to this, they founded Working Dog Business Services in 2015 and worked as a Management Consultant, advising on investment opportunities and creating business plans. David also served as a Consultant Director at Cavendish Management Resources in 2015. From 2012 to 2014, David worked as the Finance Director/CFO at Parlophone Records LTD and previously as the Finance Director (CFO) for UK & Ireland at EMI Music UK from 2009 to 2014. Prior to that, they held roles such as SVP Financial Operations and Services at EMI Music from 2008 to 2009 and COO/CFO at Blue Note Label Group from 2004 to 2008. David also has extensive experience at EMI Music, where they held various positions including Associate Director of Royalty Accounting from 1998 to 1999 and Manager of Royalty Accounting from 1995 to 1998. David started their career as an Internal Auditor at BMG Entertainment from 1993 to 1995.

David D'Urbano obtained a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from UCLA Anderson School of Management from 1999 to 2002. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Accounting at Rutgers University from 1989 to 1993. David also has a certification as a Certified Public Accountant.
