Richard Wicander

Richard Wicander is an experienced music industry professional with a robust background in creative A&R and music production. Currently serving as a Creative A&R at BMG - The New Music Company since October 2018, Richard specializes in identifying and supporting promising songwriters while managing creative processes and client needs. As the drummer and musical director for Fire from the Gods since March 2014, Richard contributes to the band's musical direction and performance. Previous roles include Department Manager of Pro Audio and Studio Associate at Guitar Center, as well as a long-standing music producer since June 2010, working with various notable bands and artists. Richard holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Production from the Art Institute of Austin, completed in 2013.
