Stijn van der Loo

Stijn van der Loo is an experienced songwriter currently working at BMG - The New Music Company since August 2022. His writing career spans several roles, including writer of fiction novels, short stories, and theatre plays at Em. Querido's Uitgeverij B.V. since January 2004, as well as through independent projects since the same year. Stijn is the owner of Studio BBH in Amsterdam since January 2002, which serves as a creative space for audio and video production. Stijn has also served as a music consultant for Bisk from 1997 to 2006, a singer/counter-tenor in the Intermezzo a-capella group from 1985 to 1997, and a music teacher at St. Joriscollege from 1985 to 1992. Education includes creative writing at 't Colofon (1995-2001), ongoing studies at Conservatorium Tilburg, and a degree in music teaching from HKU (1981-1986).
