Sami Mäkelä has a strong background in sourcing and procurement, with their most recent role being the Head of Sourcing & Procurement at BMH Technology Oy since August 2023. Prior to this, they held positions as a Procurement Manager and Sourcing Manager at the same company from 2019 to 2023. Before joining BMH Technology Oy, Sami worked at Rauma Works Oy, where they were a Procurement Manager from 2014 to 2018 and a Procurement Engineer from 2011 to 2014.

Sami Mäkelä attended the University of Oulu from 2005 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management. Sami also studied at the Tampere University of Technology from 2003 to 2010, earning another Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Management.
