Eva Potyra

Eva Potyra is an experienced engineer with a strong background in polymer foams and composite materials. From February 2006 to July 2012, Eva worked as a scientific staff member at the Fraunhofer Institute for Chemical Technology, where responsibilities included project acquisition, project management, experimental planning, and materials and process development. Eva also spent time as a project engineer at the Fraunhofer Project Centre for Composite Research from July 2012 to October 2014, focusing on fiber composite materials and overseeing various project aspects. After a career break for family from November 2015 to May 2019, Eva joined BMI Group in May 2019 as a project engineer and later progressed to the role of Team Lead Fire Lab in March 2025. Eva holds a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Materials Science from the University of Bayreuth, obtained in 2005.
