Sharon Moar

Sharon Moar is an experienced procurement professional with a robust background in strategic sourcing and supply chain management across various sectors. Currently serving as Procurement Director at BMI Group since November 2018, Sharon leads the procurement solar team and is a member of BMI’s Group Procurement Leadership Team, focusing on aligning procurement capabilities with strategic objectives. Prior roles include Global Category Manager at Aliaxis, where Sharon developed multi-year global procurement strategies and enhanced supplier relationships, and EMEA Procurement Manager at Synthomer, where Sharon transformed procurement processes. Additionally, during tenure at BP as Global Category Manager, Sharon implemented market strategies that improved supplier collaboration and reduced costs. Sharon holds a BSc (Hons) in Chemistry from the University of the West of Scotland.
