Stephen McCall

Stephen McCall is an accomplished public health professional currently serving as Director and Acting Director at the Center For Research on Population and Health at the American University of Beirut (AUB) since September 2022, and as an Assistant Professor of Public Health Practice at AUB since 2019. With a strong background in epidemiology and statistical analysis, Stephen holds positions as Academic Editor for PLOS Global Public Health and Statistical Advisor for BMJ Sexual and Reproductive Health. Previous roles include Research Associate at the University of Oxford, where a Ph.D. in Population Health was obtained, and Honorary Senior Research Fellow at the University of Aberdeen. Stephen's international experience includes a visiting researcher role at INSERM in Paris. Diverse educational credentials, including advanced certifications from Harvard Business School Online, complement a foundational academic background in Geography from the University of Aberdeen.
