John Petkosek

John Petkosek is an experienced professional in national security, currently serving as Senior Program Manager at BMNT since July 2018, where the focus is on partnering with innovators and the defense community. Previous roles include Director of Operations at the Defense Threat Reduction Agency, overseeing a large team and a significant budget to counter improvised threats, and Group Commander at the Asymmetric Warfare Group, leading a diverse team and fostering innovation through the establishment of the Asymmetric Warfare Training Center. Further experience includes pivotal positions in the US Army, including Chief Strategic Initiatives Group and Battalion Commander, as well as academic achievements such as a Master of Arts in International Security and Strategy from King's College London and a Master of Science in International Relations from Troy University.
