Since its inception in 2005 Barrackpore Medicare and Recovery Center, or BMRC has been playing a pioneering role in providing quality treatment to its patients, with its central focus on the Cardiology, CTVS, Nephrology, Neurology, and Respiratory department using the latest state-of-the-art technology being used in the department for surgical methods. The Hospital also has other simultaneously excellent performing departments such as the Orthopaedic, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Paediatric and a lot more ensuring that the Hospital can successfully cover all the sectors of illness commonly faced by human beings. The Health Institute has upgraded itself with the changes in imaging technologies and successfully conducts imaging sessions from a simple X-ray to a complicated HOLTER imaging. The hospital has recently started medical services, namely Dialysis and Radiological Imaging in 45 Government Hospitals and medical colleges all over West Bengal under the PPP model (public private partnership with the West Bengal Government). The institution has also started operations at Jharsugada, Odisha, a cardio super speciality hospital, under the same model with the Odisha Government.
