BMS Engineers is a process design company specialising in the use of membranes to treat process fluids in the mining industry. Our services include conceptual design, on site pilot plant testing, full scale design and commissioning, and off site technical support.

Our expertise in membranes has seen BMS Engineers develop the world’s first uranium membrane plant, the Acid Recovery Plant (ARP) at the Kayelekera Uranium Mine in Malawi in 2013.

This was followed by the world's second uranium membrane plant, the Bicarbonate Recovery Plant (BRP) at the Langer Heinrich Mine in Namibia in 2015. 

BMS Engineers have exclusive rights to the patented Solvent Recovery Technology which can recover up to 85% of the solvent fluid.

BMS Engineers work closely with specialist membrane manufacturers to develop membranes specifically suited to improving our clients process.
