Gilles Chemla

Gilles Chemla is a seasoned academic and researcher in finance, currently serving as a Professor of Finance at Imperial College London, where leadership includes heading the fintech centre. With a robust background that includes roles as Head of the finance department and Research Director at the Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique, Gilles Chemla has contributed significantly to the field since 1998. Prior to their current position, experience includes serving as Assistant Professor of Finance at the University of British Columbia and various academic roles at Universitat Pompeu Fabra and the London School of Economics. Gilles Chemla's educational qualifications feature a PhD in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, a Master in Research from the Paris School of Economics, and a civil engineering degree from ENPC - Ecole Nationale des Ponts et Chaussées.
