Christopher Neumann

Christopher Neumann is currently the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at Barnes & Noble Education, Inc. since 2025 and serves on the Board of Directors for the Kaplan Educational Foundation. Previously, Neumann held various significant legal roles, including Vice President and Deputy General Counsel at Kaplan, where they managed corporate M&A and legal functions, and General Counsel at Six Flags, overseeing a wide range of legal matters for a major public company. Neumann began their career as an Associate at Fulbright & Jaworski LLP and later became a Partner at Kirkland & Ellis LLP. They have also served as Director and Senior Counsel at BlackRock, Inc. Neumann is pursuing a JD from Saint John's University School of Law while holding a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Vermont.
