Modesto Díaz

Modesto Díaz is a seasoned professional in the field of project management and engineering, currently serving as a Senior Project Manager at BNZ, overseeing a 500MWp Portuguese portfolio under construction. Previously, Modesto worked as a Senior Engineering Consultant at DNV, managing significant Independent Engineering and Technical Advisory projects for large-scale photovoltaic developments globally, including substantial roles in major projects in Spain and Portugal. Modesto's earlier experience includes a role as Portfolio Project Manager at Quintas Energy, handling a portfolio of 281MWp solar plants in the UK, and positions in AIESEC Sevilla that enhanced youth leadership through international exchanges. Modesto also held various technical and teaching roles, including a Technical Engineer at Abengoa and an Expert on Processes Simulation at Renault. Modesto holds a Master of Science in Photovoltaic Solar Energy Systems Technology and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Universidad Internacional de Andalucía and Universidad de Sevilla, respectively.
