BoardLand is a mobile turn-based strategy card game for Android and iOS — built by a 2-person, engineering-first team based in Rzeszów, Poland.

We develop and publish BoardLand: a mid-core mobile game where players build and upgrade decks (200+ cards, 3 races), fight tactical battles with units and spells, and progress through short sessions — offline in campaign and challenges, or online in PvP and friendly matches.

BoardLand is in Google Play Open Testing on Android, with a production backend, in-app purchases, ads, and analytics. Apple App Store release coming soon. The core loop is deck → battle → rewards → upgrades → new modes and events. Sessions fit a commute, not a weekend.

What makes our approach different:
• Hybrid gameplay — offline and online on the same deterministic battle logic
• Multiplayer via Photon Quantum — stable PvP without a separate bolted-on mode
• Production live ops — Firebase Remote Config, server-side IAP verification, push notifications, and automated CI/CD

We're technical founders building in public — Open Testing on Android today, production infrastructure already running. Stack: Unity 6000.x, Python/Flask on Google Cloud Run, PostgreSQL (Neon), Firebase, GitHub Actions, Metabase, Grafana.

Game modes: campaign, tactical challenges, deck building, offline play, and online PvP. Accessible mid-core mobile strategy — more depth than casual card games, shorter sessions than mobile RTS.

Co-founders Łukasz Cieśla (CTO — backend, infra, CI/CD) and Arkadiusz Piczak (Product Lead — Unity, game design, publishing) share devlogs, architecture notes, playtest learnings, and milestone updates.
