Kate McAndrew

Kate McAndrew is a seasoned investor and entrepreneur with extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Currently, Kate serves as the Pre-seed lead investor and board member at offe market and Recess, while also holding the same title for several other startups including a material science company, a stealth pre-seed startup focused on geothermal technology, and Sylvie, a marketplace targeting Gen Z and millennials. As a co-founder and general partner at Baukunst, Kate contributes to advancing innovative companies at the intersection of technology and design. Additional roles include Pre-seed lead investor and board observer at Bindery Books and Bobbie, along with a board member position at Eternal. Kate holds a Bachelor of Arts in Cultural Studies and Art History from McGill University and attended ArtCenter College of Design.
