Jared Powers

Jared Powers has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Jared is currently working at Bob's Containers, where they hold the role of Chief Marketing Officer and Director of Ecommerce since February 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Firestarter Search Engine Optimization from 2017 to 2021, starting as a Project Manager and then transitioning to Sales & Client Retention. At Work Hard Be Kind, they served as an Independent Consultant focusing on Ruby on Rails from August 2016 to May 2017. Jared also worked at Carson for America, Inc. as the Deputy Director in New Hampshire from October 2015 to February 2016. Before that, they were the District Director for State Senator Brandon Creighton from September 2014 to October 2015. Jared also had experience as a Campaign Canvasser at Murphy Nasica from January 2014 to August 2014. Earlier in their career, they worked as an Assistant Operations Manager at Griffin Trade Group from January 2012 to January 2014 and as a Warehouse Manager at Lonestar Surplus Store from December 2010 to June 2011. Jared began their career as a Wich Maker at Which Wich? Superior Sandwiches from August 2009 to December 2010.

Jared Powers attended The Iron Yard in 2016, focusing on Web Development and earning a degree in Ruby on Rails. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2013, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in History at the University of Houston. Jared's earlier education was at Texas A&M University from 2008 to 2011, majoring in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering, though they did not receive a degree in this field.
