Marlon Cabrera Ormaza is a Junior Software Developer at BOC Group since January 2021, with previous experience as a Graduate Student in Applied Mathematics at Vienna University of Technology from March 2019 to January 2021. Prior to this, Marlon served as a Lecturer at Escuela de la Marina Mercante Nacional, focusing on "Strength of Materials" and occasionally teaching Chemistry. In the role of Research Assistant at Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral, Marlon contributed to a project assessing climate change impacts on the hydrological system of Santa Elena Province through statistical data analysis and modeling. Additionally, Marlon worked as a Project Assistant in geological and environmental management, and interned as an Engineer at Sociedad Minera Nueva Rojas. Marlon holds Master of Science degrees in Applied Mathematics from both Technische Universität Wien and Università degli Studi dell'Aquila, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral. Early education includes a musical background from Conservatorio Nacional de Música Antonio Neumane.
