Ilchi Lee has a diverse work experience spanning several fields. Ilchi is the Founder and President of the Earth Citizens Organization, a non-profit promoting peace and sustainability through the idea of "Earth Citizenship." Ilchi also founded the Global Cyber University, a primarily online undergraduate university focused on serving humanity and the earth as its first priority. Additionally, they are the Founder of the International Brain Education Association, which spreads Brain Education to schools in third-world countries. Ilchi Lee also founded the University of Brain Education, a research-oriented graduate school dedicated to advancing Brain Education as an international academic study. Ilchi is the Founder of the Tao Fellowship, a non-profit that promotes the spirit of Tao as a principle of harmony and peace. Furthermore, they founded BR Consulting, Inc., a global business consulting service that advocates for sustainable practices benefiting humanity and the Earth. Ilchi Lee is the Founder of Body & Brain Yoga & Health Centers, Inc., a national leader in holistic wellness and lifestyle education. Ilchi served as the President of the Korea Institute of Brain Science, with a focus on understanding and optimizing the human brain's potential. Ilchi has also worked as a keynote speaker on natural healing and personal development and as an author. Ilchi Lee founded the Institute for Traditional Korean Cultural Studies.

Ilchi Lee earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Clinical Pathology and Physical Education from Dankook University from 1971 to 1973.
