D. Joiner

D. Joiner has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. D.'smost recent role was as an IT Assessment & Authorization Information Assurance Specialist at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, starting in July 2012. Prior to that, they worked as a Technical Publications Consultant at Criterion Systems Inc. from November 2011 to August 2012. From September 2006 to October 2010, they served as a Sr. Curriculum Editor at Alutiiq, and from March 2001 to September 2006, they worked as a Sr. Technical Editor at STG. D. Joiner began their career as a News Assistant at Voice of America in June 1998, and from September 1999 to March 2001, they worked as a Principal Technical Writer at Titan Corporation. Prior to that, they served as a Graduate Hall Director at Towson University from January 1997 to June 1998.

D. Joiner pursued higher education at Towson University from 1997 to 1999. D. earned a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Professional Writing [MPW] during this period. Prior to that, from 1992 to 1996, they attended The University of Akron, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English. In terms of additional certifications, Joiner achieved the Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) certification from (ISC)² in January 2017.
