Project Lead Design Engineer at BI&A

David Kincaide has a diverse work experience spanning over 15 years. David began their career as an intern at Lockheed Martin in 2004 and later joined Northrop Grumman as a Mechanical Design Engineer Intern in 2005. David continued working at Northrop Grumman and held various roles including Mechanical Design Engineer and System Engineer, where they contributed to the development, integration, and analysis of space vehicle subsystems.

In 2018, David worked at Insight Global as a Sr. Design Engineer Lead on a temporary basis for Zodiac Aerospace. There, they led a team in creating technical diagrams and documenting procedures for successful integration and deployment of hardware on space vehicles.

Currently, David is employed at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics since 2019, serving as a Project Lead/Design Engineer. In this role, they ensure designs meet objectives and requirements, supports integration issue resolution, and collaborates with other engineering teams and production operations throughout the product lifecycle.

David Kincaide has a strong educational background in the field of aerospace, aeronautical, and astronautical engineering. David first attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) from 2000 to 2005, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering. During the same period, they also earned another Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Further pursuing their academic interests, David Kincaide went on to Stanford University from 2005 to 2006, obtaining a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Aerospace, Aeronautical and Astronautical Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, David Kincaide also obtained a certification in SQL Essential Training from lynda.com in September 2015.
