Maria Laboy's work experience is as follows:

- Program Manager at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics since 2022.

- Project Manager at the United States Department of Defense from July 2016 to February 2022. In this role, they successfully managed and assessed the cost, schedule, and performance of assigned projects. Maria authored important project documents and provided timely updates to organization leads.

- Research Assistant at the University of Puerto Rico Medical Sciences Campus from January 2013 to June 2015. Their research focused on the compaction of nanostructured lipid carriers into tablets and they determined their physicochemical properties, drug release, and stability.

- Validation Specialist at Zimmer Biomet from July 2014 to January 2015. Maria created validation protocols, trained operators, and ensured regulatory compliance.

- Operational Excellence Intern at Bristol-Myers Squibb in June 2013. Maria led a project to improve tablet compression process through a time study and Kaizen events.

- Materials Management Intern at Eli Lilly and Company from August 2011 to December 2011. Maria calculated standard times, verified resources, and analyzed operator utilization.

- Materials Department Coop at General Electric (GE) from February 2011 to July 2011. Maria designed a Kanban transportation system, conducted cost benefit analysis, and reduced inventory costs for the GE production line.

Maria Laboy has a strong educational background with a focus on business and engineering. Maria completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Maryland Global Campus in the years 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Universidad de Puerto Rico between 2012 and 2015. Maria's bachelor's degree was obtained from the University of Puerto Rico-Mayaguez from 2006 to 2012, where they studied Industrial Engineering.

In addition to their formal education, Maria Laboy has also obtained several certifications. Maria became a Project Management Professional (PMP) through the Project Management Institute in December 2020. Maria also achieved the DAWIA Program Manager 2 certification from the Defense Acquisition University in December 2019. Lastly, in April 2013, they received the Engineer In Training - FE Industrial certification from the National Council of Examiners for Engineering and Surveying (NCEES).
