Robert Gay

Robert Gay has a diverse work experience in the field of IT and computer support. Robert worked as a Product Security Engineer at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics, where they provided support to the CRIAB product security team. Robert conducted reviews of SWII's and Scripts to identify opportunities for automation and assisted in troubleshooting event logs. Prior to that, they worked at Five Stones Research Corporation as a Server Operations analyst, where they assessed an organization's technological processes and made recommendations for improvement.

Robert also worked at Lockheed Martin for a significant period, starting as a Computer Support Specialist and later becoming involved in purchasing IT-related items, configuring servers, and acting as a liaison between IT departments and programs. Robert also managed inventory control, assisted with special projects, and negotiated better pricing with vendors.

In addition, Robert has experience as an IT Support Manager at Seal Shield, a Freelance Contractor as a Computer & Network Technician, and as a South Georgia Remote Technician at PruittHealth, where they covered a wide range of responsibilities including installation, repair, and troubleshooting of various computer systems and network equipment.

Earlier in their career, Robert worked as a Computer & Server Technician at Asgard Avionics Corporation of Florida and as a Field Technician at Intec Computer Solutions, where they gained expertise in troubleshooting servers and workstations and replacing hardware.

Robert Gay began their education journey in 1996 at Eastern Florida State College, where they pursued their studies for a period of two years. During this time, they did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study. In 1998, they transferred to Florida Technical College and completed their education in 1999, earning an A.S. Degree in Networking/Programming.

In terms of additional certifications, Robert obtained the CompTIA Security+ certification in September 2021 from CompTIA.
