Christopher Talbot is an experienced geographer and specialist currently serving at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since November 2021, where expertise in geographic information system technology and spatial analysis is applied. Bureau of Ocean Energy Management
The Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, a bureau in the U.S. Department of the Interior, is the Federal agency that manages the nation's natural gas, oil and other mineral resources, and the development of offshore renewable energy on the outer continental shelf (OCS). The program is national in scope and is headquartered in Washington, D.C. Regional offices are located in New Orleans, Louisiana.; Camarillo, California, northwest of Los Angeles; and Anchorage, Alaska. A broad range of scientific, engineering and program management positions are required to keep BOEM at the forefront of offshore resource management and powering our nation.
