Wright Frank is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in policy development related to renewable energy and offshore resource management. Currently serving as the Renewable Energy Policy Chief at the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since August 2009, Wright has played a pivotal role in establishing a new Policy Group within the Office of Renewable Energy Programs, overseeing significant cross-cutting issues such as guidance documents and regulations. Previous roles include Acting Chief of the Policy Group and Chief of the Leasing Policy and Management Division, where responsibilities encompassed managing a team and coordinating oil and gas lease sales. Wright’s background also includes serving as an Attorney at Law in the Energy Regulation Practice Group at Troutman Sanders LLP and teaching English as a Second Language. Academic qualifications include a JD with honors from The George Washington University Law School and advanced degrees in Linguistics and French.
