John Basil Georges is an accomplished pioneer in wireless infrastructure, known for founding and leading several innovative companies in the field. They co-founded LGC Wireless in 1996, establishing the company as a leader in indoor Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS), which was later acquired by ADC Telecommunications. They also founded NextG Networks, the world’s first outdoor small-cell company, which was purchased by Crown Castle during their tenure as CEO from 2001 to 2012. Currently, they serve as a Senior Advisor at QMC Telecom and as the Founder & CEO of Sobey Networks, continuing to influence the indoor and outdoor small-cell markets in Latin America. John holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Master's degree from Columbia University.
