Sofie Staal

Sofie Staal has a diverse background in design and customer service, beginning with roles at Romerike synssenter and Anton Sport, where Sofie gained initial experience in part-time positions. Between 2014 and 2015, Sofie worked at Weightless AS in e-commerce and customer service, and completed military service with Forsvaret. Transitioning to a focus on design, Sofie held various positions including as a UX Designer Intern at Geta Digital and later at Dipper AS, culminating in a senior role as an app designer at Shortcut AS from April 2018 until January 2023, where contributions were made to projects for notable clients such as Telenor and REMA 1000. Currently, Sofie serves as UX Lead at Innovasjon Norge and has taken on the role of Fagleder Design at Boitano AS since September 2025. Educational qualifications include degrees from Høyskolen Kristiania in Graphic Design and Interaction Design, along with a vocational diploma in media and communication.
