Paul Bender

Paul Bender is an experienced program manager currently leading the asset-light logistics growth strategy at bol, where responsibilities include optimizing logistics assets and managing sustainability initiatives. Previous roles include overseeing the realization of bol. com's sustainable fulfillment center and a new Returns Center. Bender has a strong background in project management, having worked at Damen Shipyards Group on optimizing shipyard processes and at Huisman Equipment B.V. on delivering complex EPC projects. Additional experiences include a 15-month sabbatical journey through multiple countries, a master's thesis internship at Shell, and leadership in student council activities. Bender holds an MSc in Production, Engineering & Logistics and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from Delft University of Technology.
