Saskia Scheffers

Saskia Scheffers is a seasoned professional in logistics and operations management with extensive experience in leading strategic initiatives. Currently serving as the Head of Logistics Strategy at bol.com since July 2018, Saskia oversees an internal consultancy team focused on the long-term planning of the logistics network. Previously, roles included Lead Logistics Strategy at bol.com, Manager Operations at Brouwer Technology B.V., and various positions at NedTrain, including Program Manager Lean, aimed at enhancing operational efficiencies. Earlier experience encompasses managing European strategy at Nederlandse Spoorwegen and bid management at Abellio. Saskia began a career in purchasing and marketing communications with NS through a Young Leadership Trainee Programme and completed a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering & Management Science at Eindhoven University of Technology.
